Abstract Submission Guidelines

KRAKOW HERNIA DAYS 2017

The deadline for abstract submission: November 20, 2017.

The Scientific Committee invites authors to submit poster - abstracts addressing any of the conference themes.

Accepted poster - abstracts will be presented during the conference and full texts will be published in Folia Medica Cracoviensia, the official journal of the Commission of Medical Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow.

Please adhere to the following guidelines:

The abstract should be submitted by e-mail. Only submissions done by e-mail will be accepted.

Author / Authors can submit more than one poster - abstract.

The abstract should be written in Polish.

Posters should have the following dimensions:

- width 594 mm
- height 841 mm

The abstract should contain the following sections: title, objectives, methodology and study design, results, conclusions:

Please do not put figures, graphs or pictures within the text of the abstract.

Acceptance of the submitted poster - abstracts for presentation at the Conference and subsequent publication in Folia Medica Cracoviensia will be based on the quality of work and the subject matter. Abstracts that do not meet the above requirements will not be accepted for presentation during the conference and for publication.

Accepted poster - abstracts should be printed and delivered to the conference reception at Hotel Belvedere (Droga Do Białego 3, 34-500 Zakopane) on 1st December. 2017 during registration of participants (9.00 - 13.00)

Information regarding acceptance or rejection of the poster - abstract will be sent via e-mail until 24th November 2017.
